Tis the season!


Hi Everyone,

It's that time of year when we have to start thinking about Christmas cards. I got a few done with the Christmas in July challenges but I have so many more to do. I am entering this card into 4 challenges:

The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured with Lyra Aquacolour. The paper is Kaisercraft 'Season's Greetings'. I used an EK border punch and the snowflakes were cut with Cricut, Accent Essential cartridge. I have added glitter to the ends of the snowflakes and put a Kaiser rhinestone in the centre of both. The sentiment is a Making Memories rub on.

Think Pink


Hi everyone,


Todays card is dedicated to everyone that has been touched by breast cancer. As a survivor myself I know the trauma that not only the sufferers go through but also the family and friends. Lets all work together to rid the world of this disease.

I am entering the card into the Cuttlebug Spot challenge.


It is a simple card but I hope the message comes across loud and clear. The bird and birdcage were cut with Cricut, Serenade cartridge. I embossed the birdcage with Cuttlebug, Forest Branches. The words are from a Technique Tuesday stamp set, the rhinestones are from Kaisercraft and everything else is from my stash.

Mini Travel Journal



Hi Everyone,

This travel journal was made with the Crafty Annes challenge in mind where anything but a card was requested. I am also entering it into Charisma Cardz challenge where anything goes, Corrosive Challenge to clean up the dust (Ihave had this stamp for about 3 years and never used it and Papertake Weekly which is Animal Magic.

The image is a stamp I got from E Bay about 3 years ago and sadly it has no name on it. I stamped iit onto Stampbord which I coloured with an inkpad. The paper is Memories in the Making, Surfs Up. I used Cricut to cut the die cuts. Cartridges used were A Chuilds Year, Going Places, and Everyday Paper Dolls. Everything else is from my stash. The journal was put together using my Zutter Bind it all. I have shown the front and back of the journal.

Wedding

Autumn


Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a project using autumnal colours but not an autumn theme. It is a travel journal. I have recently bought a Bind-It-All and have been dying to try it out. I am pleased with the results. The project will fit 5 challenges:

Another Bookmark Challenge

Yes, its another bookmark challenge. I enjoy the challenge of doing something different so I decided to make another bookmark for the challenge at CCEE. It will also fit the Cupcake Challenge which is 'Lets get Digital'.

Bookmark


Hi everyone,
Bit of different challenge today, I've broken away from cards and made a bookmark.
I am going to enter it into One Stop Craft Challenge which was to make something that is not a card, and Creative Inspiration which was to make a bookmark.
There is no stamping on it. The papers and ribbon is from my stash and the white flowers are Heidi Swapp Fuzzy run ons that I found hiding at the back of a cupboard. I'm not sure if they make them any more but I think they are great.

Cuttlebug Challenge


Hi everyone,
Today I have tried something I have never done before and that made it a real challenge. It is to make a sympathy card. I figured it needed to be a simple card, not something that is in your face and has to be along classic lines. This is what I came up with. I couldn't match it to any other challenges so it is just being entered into the Cuttlebug challenge.

Materials used were:
Image - An unmounted stamp and I cannot find a makers name, only plate 43C.
Stamped with charcoal chalk ink and heat embossed using Judikins embossing powder.
The background was embossed using Cuttlebug, forest branches folder.
Sentiment was a Personal Impressions stamp.
Everything else was from my stash.

Christmas in July


Hi everyone,
Beautiful day here in Tasmania, we are still in winter but the days are glorious.
Christmas in July has appeared again and I love making Christmas cards so her is my lastest effort. It doesn't show too well on the photo but I have put a layer of glitter under the red 'border' so that it shows beneath the punched holes. I am entering it into 6 challenges and they are:

A little bit different


Hi Everyone,
I thought I would make something a little bit different this time. I wanted something for a man and decided to use my Stampscapes stamps. I don't use them very often because I haven't quite got the technique, but gave it a go and I am happy with the result. I am entering the card into 2 challenges:
Annabelle Stamp Blog - Say it with embossing
Alphabet challenge - M is for Men.

As already mentioned the stamps are Stampscapes and I coloured them with Marvy Brush Markers. I have mounted the image on some vellum which was embossed with Cuttlebug, Birds and Swirls. I used eyelets in the corners and threaded the botton two with a bit of braid. The sentiment is a Making Memories rub on.

Christmas in July


Hi Everyone,

Another Christmas in July challenge and I am really happy the way this card turned out and will make more in different colours. My camera struggled a little with the white card. The card is for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge which was for a Christmas in July theme. It is just a plain white card embossed with the Cuttlebug, Lace Tree folder and embellished with some Kaiser rhinestones. The ribbon is from my stash and the gifts at the base of the tree were cut with Cricut, Christmas Cheer cartridge. The sentiment is an American Crafts rub on. How simple is that!!

Gardening Theme

Where did last week go?

This week has flown by and I have not posted, where did the time go? Well this card really was a challenge and I'm not really happy with the outcome, had a terrible time with the wings and even now they are still patchy. One for the men!!



Hi everyone,
It's a real challenge to make a card for the men. This one was made for the CCEE Stampers challenge. It will also fir the challenges for:
Mo's Digital Pencil - Easel cards
Secret Crafter - Include a quote
Allsorts - Lace and/or buttons.

The image was from Mo's Digital pencil and was coloured using Lyra Aquacolours. The quote and the little bee were from a See D's stamp set called Sunflower. I lightly 'smudged' the quote with Distress Ink, brushed corduroy. Everything else is from my stash.

Thankyou


Hi everyone,
Today I have made a thankyou card for Creative Card Crew. I thought I will try and use more vivid colours, most of my cards tend to be pastel. Well, I coloured the image in brighter colours but The papers still edged towards being pastel. Its a start, will have to try harder next time. The card will also fit another 3 challenges:
Sassy Cheryl - Embossing
A spoonfull of sugar - Floral delights
Whoopsi Daisy - Ribbons and bows

The image is Sassy Cheryl and coloured with Lyra Aquacolour. The paper is from a Provacraft paper block. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, everything else is from my stash.

Summer Fun

Baby Card


Hi everyone,
Weather here is terrible today, torrential rain, so what else could I do but make a card. Haven't made a baby card for a while, so that's what I made today,
It will fit the following cahllenges:
Incy Wincy - Buttons
Pollycraft - Buttons and butterflies
Spoonfull of sugar - Celebrate
Papertake Weekly - The sketch that I followed
Sassy Cheryl - Punches.

The image was from Sassy Cheryl and was coloured with Lyra Aquacolour. Cardstock was Bazill and all the paer was from my stash. The butterfly was made with a Carl punch and I used stickles on it. Sentiment was a Making Memories rub on and everything else was from stash.

Share the love


Hi everyone,
I made this card for Mo's Digital Pencil challenge where we had to show some love. I think this image does that perfectly.
This card will also fit into another couple of challenges:
Stamp Something - 2 of something, I used 2 flowers (& 2 people)
Allsorts - Use a tag or a ticket.

Materials used were:
Image Mo's Digital Pencil
Coloured with Lyra Aquacolor
Ginger's skirt is paper pieced with a scrap from my stash
I made my own background by randomly stamping a heart image from Scrappy Cat, Wedding wishes, the seniment also came from the same set and I have heat embossed it.
Cardstock - Bazzil
The bottom of the cardstock is cut with wavy scissors, haven't used them for a while,
Ink is Color Box
Flowers - Handmade Paper Co.
Rhinestones - Kaiser.
The tag is handmade and ribbon from stash.

My 1st easel card


Hi everyone,
Today I made my 1st easel card, didn't turn out too bad but oh so difficult to photograph!!. I decided not to use stamps today. The card will fit the following challenges:
